Purpose and Role of Volunteers

To help fulfill the mission of Anglican Frontier Missions; volunteers are integrated into all facets of the work being done by the family of Anglican Frontier Missions.

Volunteers provide both program and administrative support.  Their work enhances the services offered by the agency to send missionaries, educate churches and partner with others so that the 25 largest, least evangelized peoples are reached for Jesus.  Our volunteers are offered an opportunity to liaise with the public and faith community, work hand-in-hand with the staff and the people we serve without access to the Gospel.

Anglican Frontier Missions Doctrinal Statement

Anglican Frontier Missions' doctrinal basis is located in Scripture (2 Timothy 3:16) as the ultimate standard for faith and practice. We affirm the historic Christian faith as set forth in the 4 Ecumenical Councils, 3 Historical Creeds, 39 Articles and the classic 1662 Prayer Book tradition. We believe in the Holy Trinity, the Gospel of Jesus Christ, the Second Coming of Christ, and the Body of Christ where God’s pure Word is preached and its sacraments duly administered.  We sense the urgency and priority of mission and evangelism (Matt 28:18-20) so that every ethnic group receives God’s blessing through Jesus (Gen 12:3, Rev 21:24, Gal 3:13)
