Desperate Mother

A young mother gave birth to a child. Very early on she noticed that the baby was not doing well. In fact, the baby was frequently crying and not growing like it should. Desperate she started going to the Temple but no results that she was looking for. Then one day, in her desperation, she sat down by the roadside and she heard people singing. They were singing about a person, Jesus, someone she had not heard of before. They sang about resurrection, healing, hope, life and joy. She was sitting across from the the entrance of the Church.

The singing attracted her to walk inside and inquire. They immediately accepted her and said, "We will pray for you daily!" Acknowledging their sincerity she repeatedly returned to know more about these Christians and this person Jesus. These Christians in turn offered money, food and emotional support for her along with the Prayers. The child began to recover and she accepted the reality of love and power of God to enter her life.
